Swatch SUON112 wrist watches news:
I took my SEAMASTER 300M CHRONO(circa 2000) for an overhaul to Omega boutique in NYC. When I spoke to a girl on the phone she quoted me $375-up for my watch. When I brought the watch in she told me $530-up but I should leave it and I would be given the correct price estimate in a few days. What i don't understand is on Omega website pricing starts at CHF390(roughly the same in USD) for current calibers. Is my watch considered current caliber? There's a pdf chart on their site:omega.ch/fileadmin/Custom..._list_2009.pdf Can someone please tell me which of these mysterious numbers belongs to my watch and how much I should expect to pay? I'd like to be armed with some info next time that girl starts to pull repair prices out of her er...thin air. Thanks in advanceMike
Hey folks; I'm new here!Anyways, I live in the US and found a watch that I love Carrera TAG Heuer CARRERA Calibre S Laptimer (43mm)CV7A10.FT6012Link: The Collection > Carrera > Man > Calibre S Laptimer Chrono - TAG Heuer, Swiss Watches and Chronographs - TAG Heuer swiss avant garde since 1860However, I have come to find out (called tag directly) that its only sold overseas (maybe only in europe?) and not available in the US market.I am reaching out to this community to give me some insight on how to find a reputable AD in europe to communicate with. I have never done anything like this before, but this watch is worth it. Anyone have any AD Tag contacts?I'm also concerned about a few things;ShippingExchange rate etc.Help?Thanks!cmd0518
So got a chance to see the New Blue Dial ROC with silver sub dials...... am i the only one in the whole wide interweb that thinks the colour is a little dark/flat and almost navy in real life. I meant there are some amazing pictures out there of the dial but i didn't really see that translate in real life, maybe it was the lighting in the store but being a jewelry store the lights were plenty bright. Don't get me wrong its a beautiful watch but i just didn't see the pop in the dial color that i was expecting from all the pictures i've seen.
To compliment my D as a daily wearer thoughts informed opinions narrowed it down to these, reasoning a change!! top tier marques both IMO simple high end wearers in SS [bracelet on the AP / rubber on the Patek]regardssteve
We've all read the threads on the PepsiC - I'm second on the list at my AD and my hopes of seeing one this calendar year are still slim. Any thoughts how difficult it will be to procure a two-tone root beer at MSRP before this time next year?
