There are styles of hands that are kind of standard: dauphine, baton, sword, etc. Then there are some that aren't seen that often. Here's a watch I've had for a year or so. It came in a cleanout-lot, and while it isn't the prettiest, I just had to hold onto it because of these blued fleur de lis hands...Guess I should have worn it yesterday!What other unusual hands are out there?

AP Diver Woes and Wear?
Hey all, new to the forum but have been lurking for a while. Anyways I am planning to add a diver to my collection and have been weighing a couple of options: the Blancpain Bathyscaphe Chronograph in ceramic, the Hulk Submariner, and the AP Diver in SS. After trying all of them on, I prefer the AP, but have heard bad things about wear and tear on the bezel/scratches on the case. I'd like to see any pics AP diver owners may have showing wear on the steel if possible just to see what everyone is talking about.Also, how does the AP diver compare as a daily wear to a Sub-C?Thanks in advance!

Just came across this Breitling, in the back of the safe, which I haven't seen in years! I recall that I purchased it new (on a whim) around 1994/1995, while in Canada.Fast forward to today, when again, I came across it in the safe. My wife spotted it, and now wants to wear it, so I wound it up, set it, and on her wrist it sits! Any information about this would be greatly appreciated. What's the story with the crown looking to be steel, while the pushers look to be gold?Where would I look for a Breitling replacement leather strap, and what should I look to pay? 5712r or AP 15400OR?
Hi guys,So I'm thinking of making another big purchase early next year so I'm taking the time to do as much research as possible, the thrill of the hunt is actually 70% of the fun of the whole thing for me.Anyway, what's your opinion on the following?The pros of the AP are it's a full gold bracelet but the Patek is a superior movement IMO.I'm slightly leaning towards the Patek because I have an all gold watch in the Sky-Dweller. Any suggestions would be gratefully appreciated.Thanks all!PS: I looked at the 15202 but I don't see the hype and can't justify the price difference with regard to the 15400. The movement seems to have more historical significance as opposed to being superior in itself, if anyone can correct me on this I'm all ears.
