Omega 2502.50.00 wrist watches news:
Hi, Folks: I have decided that my next acquisition will be a PW (big surprise) and that puppy will be a Hamilton. The reason I have made this choice is that I have recently heard that the Ordinance Department of the US Military issued high-quality PW-s during WW II. I had known about the classic wrist-watches but did not know that there were PW as well. So.now you know everything I know on the subject. Any thoughts on locating one of these puppies and adding it to my collection without taking out a second mortgage on my house? Does anyone know about the quality of these pieces? Does it merit the respect I am giving it, or am I just being "wow"-d by the history? Thoughts? Best Wishes, Bruce
Thought I'd share this article I found in the NY Post today. The guy "Mike" is precisely the type of smarmy, douchey person that gives watch fans a bad reputation.
I use my watch throughout the night to see what time it is, so lume is important. When I got this AP, was concerned the thin lume on the hands and dial would be too weak, but it has turned out to be more legible than anticipated, and more than adequate. Please share your AP lume shots...
MT DREAM AP IS A STARWHEEL FROM THE 1990'S.I HAVE WANTED ONE SINCE I FIRST SAW IT. I COULD NOT AFFORD ONE. NOW I CAN AFFORD IT, I CAN'T FIND ONE. DOES ANYONE HAVE ONE AVAILABLE? ts1.mm.bing.net/th?id=H.45684...7&rs=1&pid=1.7WHAT IS YOUR DREAM AUDEMAR?
Was at my local AD and they had a new Red SD...I was actually there to look at a different Rolex and went ahead and tried it on. Although it appears larger than my hulk it was actually extremely comfortable which surprised me. The more I think about it the more and more I loved it. Anyone else have this sentiment and are they still hard to find in stock?
