I was wondering if any of you fine folks knew anything in relation to Revue Watches from the 1960/70's.I purchased this NOS item from the bay and it arrived today. Its my first non modern watch. Not really very expensive so I wasnt really concerned about the legitimacy of the watch.Anyway, opened the package today and I must say it is a stunning watch. Much smaller than I am used to (36x36). I was looking for a funky casual watch, but its more of a super funky dress watch. Changed the bands and hey presto!Revue.jpgAnyway, anyone with any info (I have found next to nothing other than the Revue Thommen web site), please let me know. Also, I have no idea how to get the caseback off its an absolute mystery!

Omega Railmaster vs. Longines Legend Diver. Which to choose?
Hi all,Could need some input here. Basically, I've got two sellers - one offering a BNIB Longines Legend Diver, and the other one a used Omega Railmaster (42 mm) in decent condition (hairlines and not-so-deep scratches) without box or papers, but including a certificate of authenticity. It's from 2007 and has probably not been serviced. Both watches are about the same $$$.What I'm looking for in these watches is basically all-round qualities. With change of straps they both offer dressy and casual looks. And I love the style of each of them.This will be my only "nice" watch for several years as I'm going to study the next 4-5 years. It should be able to handle every-day wear as well as dress-up occasions. The thing is - I can't make up my mind. Omega obviously has a brand-advantage over Longines. Aside from that it's really 50/50. Given my situation described above - which one would you recommend over the other in terms of versatility and general quality of the watches? I'm very gratef

Don't be afraid of the 15450...
I get the sense that many chaps avoid the 15450 because 37mm seems too small...in fact, I myself struggled to pull the trigger for this very reason.I'm glad I finally got over this mental barrier and went for it, it's the perfect size for my wrists which are 6.5 ish.I have a Daytona which is a nice size also, and a Sea Dweller which works well for when I want a more casual look and when I don't think a bulkier watch looks out of place. But the AP is just perfect for me, so much so that my dealer is now on the lookout for a blue dial model (I was originally going to swap the dial, but the silver is so nice that I've decided to double up instead).A nice watch only looks nice if it's worn by the right person, and size of watch vs size of wrist is a critical factor. I know some people with similar sized wrists that wear a large ROO and it works for them, because it suits their character and the way they dress generally, but on me it would look ridiculous.So if you have smallish wrists, if
