Franck Muller 8900 CC GP wrist watches news:
I have recently purchased a 29er big from Righttime, and have been very pleased - both with Righttime and the watch. The watch is running about +9s a day in the first week. I'm sure this will become even more accurate after the normal "break in" period. I have recently been reading lots of threads on forums about companies using cases produced in other countries, and this git me to wonderingwho makes Muhle cases? I doubt knowing will sway my opinion on the watch quality, but it would be nice to be able to brag that even the case is made in Germany. Thanks for any help!
I thought you Longines fans might be interesed in a few pictures? I bought the watch on Saturday 11th February. You'll notice that the buttons on the casing on this new version at about at 2 o'clock, 4 o'clock and 10 o'clock have been replaced with more streamlined pushers. Some will prefer this and no doubt some will like the old style more. This is 41mm (so smaller than the previous 44mm version which suits a smaller wrist like mine.
From what I have observed in this (and other) watch forums, Parnis brand watches have been steadily gaining in popularity. The purpose of this particular thread is to provide a consolidated location where we can discuss present and possible future Parnis purchases.Below are a couple of stock pics of my first two Parnis watches that I received recently. I would describe the fit and finish of the various external parts of these particular watches as excellent. So far, timekeeping is "right on the money" the seconds hands do hack.In the last couple of weeks, I have bought another Parnis watch (and more may follow).FYI: The lume is good, but not nearly up to the standards of many Seikos and Citizens. IMO, it's as good as or a tad better than my Orients. The duration of the glow is mediocre; I have seen a lot worse.I'll provide my personal pictures very soon.
Will be heading to Italy and UK next week. Looking at picking up a PAM 111 when I am there. Where do your think I can the best deal? Italy or UK? Anyone have the pricelist? Thanks
Thought I made the right choice got the 114060 sub it's great...but after 2months I want to trade for a 372...bad idea???Wrist is 7.75 inches
