Invicta 8928OB wrist watches news:
Kinetic's, and while I've never owned one of these or the prior other similar examples, I have owned 1 Orient made Kinetic diver specially made for the "PADI" Master dive Instructors program, which were a limited edition watch in 2 various dial colors being Royal PADI blue and Black which were ISO rated and certified at 200 meters. Sweet! Here's the Seiko Sports 200m 5M43 Kinetic diver, just love everything about this discontinued awesome looking diver Raised polished metalic indices filled to the brim with super luminova and very nice finely finished hands and a beautiful blue sunray dial with a sapplex crystal I believe, screw down crown and caseback, and a raised polished bordered day/date window, in a 44+ mm beefy width Stainless Steel highly polished case, powered by a decent 5M43 Kinetic movement which can be ungraded with a newer Ti-Li-ion Capacitor energy cell to power these watches out to a 6 month power reserve on a full winding charge. So what are your thoughts on the Kineti
Yesterday I wrote a post titled I finally realized what watch collecting is all about. So I decided to post it on another forum man did I learn my lesson I know found out the hard way that some watch forums have nothing but rude arrogant stuck up snobs who think brands like Invicta for example are nothing but cheap nock off Rolex's oh yeah they also talk down to Citizen and even Seiko because their not in the same league as Rolex, Patek etc ect...
My dad found another old watch, and asked me about it. I had never heard of it, and believe it to be pretty old. Pics aren't great, only had my phone on me. The dial says Roda, Lifetime Mainspring, Antimagnetic and Swiss Made. Caseback also says Diamond Tooled and Radar Tested. Anyone know anything about them?
I recently acquired a Tissot Powermatic 80 Luxury with a silver dial, and just ordered one with an anthracite dial. It was a touch internal debate between anthracite and black, but in the end anthracite won out. Silly?
Saw today on the internet by a dealer an Serti Dial for an GMT Master IIAs seen on the image this Serti Dial is for 16718 model. The dealer told me that this dial is for the 16718 model from the period 2000 until 2005.I have an old catalog from 1999 and there is also model 16718 describe.I love the dial, it's for sale for 1750€ only must I find a watch from the period 2000/2005 or can I buy a watch from an other period?
