- Too large very heavy and squeezing will not take out enough to make it fit so, I didn't even try. Looks better on TV and in the box so it went back in the box and back to HSN.

- I ordered this watch in goldtone, and it's very pretty. At a glance, the large numerals resemble a geometric design against a silver backdrop. Highly polished and sure to please!

Girard Perregaux vintage wrist watches news:
X marks the sport, or third time's a charm - either is a good way of discussing the new Kazimon Drei watch. A unique and highly functional chronograph that has so much to like, with out so much of a price. "Drei" in German means "three." This is not Kazimon's third watch, but the idea refers to the three subdials present on the dial. The standard for all 12 hour chronograph watches. I like that the watch is an interesting mix between retro and modern style cues. Let's look at the retro cues first.Look at the sapphire crystal, and you'll see that it is meant to emulate the raised and rounded look of an acrylic crystal, but it is in fact sapphire. You then have the chronograph pushers that are just like those seen on models from the 1940's - though very useful still. There is also the size of the watch that is 41mm wide. This might actually seem quite medium by today's standards, but is a good size for those many people who rightfully worry about watches that are too big looking on their
I haven¡¯t been doing anything particularly interesting lately. Mostly tracking down parts and scavenging for Elgin 8/0 balances and hairsprings. If only Doug can get the cost of restaffing down under $20 I might be convinced to stop dismantling poor helpless grade 554¡¯s. I did stumble on one interesting Elgin in my searches.¡°This is a vintage Elgin DeLux watch in a gold filled case. The case shows wear to the back. The movement is not running. I am sorry I could not get the case open for pictures of the movement. I am selling it as is. The crystal is okay and the dial is aged. The watch is 37mm long and 31mm wide not including the crown.¡± said the seller.I didn¡¯t pay much attention to the details but I figured it was probably good for a hairspring so I bid. $14.50 later and I pulled it out of the packing and got the back off the case. Doug probably already knows what was inside just from the sweep second hand and the Shockmaster label on the dial.I have been searching for a 647 for a

Well I was correct in my tip "all that glitters is not gold"I found this watch while doing re-search for a vintage (1931/2) Jaeger Le Coultre 'reverso' watch, and this 'absurdity' pops up, described as a:RARE Art DECO Vulcain Vintage DOCTORS WATCH Working!!RARE Center Seconds Dial LIKE Jaeger Le coultre Reverso
My newly purchased 5167 from last week developed a movement issue. Around 11:20pm-11:40pm, the movement would stop completely. Once I advance the time past 12:00am, it would run smoothly and accurately. Since it was still under PP warranty period, I contacted my seller, Thanh Do aka Takuya, for advice on the best method to obtain warranty work. To my surprise, I received a call and a text within the hour on a Sunday. Thanh was extremely apologetic and immediately offered three options to resolve the issue. Full refund, exchange for another 5167 or he will send it back to PP on my behalf. I was amazed by the level of service.Sure, just like any mechanical timepieces, it will eventually have issues. I didn't expect Thanh to step up and take ownership in resolving the warranty issue for me. This reinforced my decision to purchase with TRF dealers, especially with Thanh! Although I have a good working relationship with my local AD, I'm uncertain if they would have offered me a full
