So what is"Full Service" on a Watch??......Many people are getting ripp-off
So yesterday I was in the mall with my nephew, we stop at this jewlery to see some watches and some guy came with I believe was a Baume&Mercier and ask the guy working there "how much for full service in the watch" the salesman reply "is goin to cost around $200 and is goin to be ready like around 5pm" it was 10am!!!! full service on a watch is a process that takes several hours to complete. Has anyone else here had their movement serviced? Can you share with us what was included in the service? I found this in the Internet this is a list of all the things they done when they full service your watch* uncase movement, remove hands and dial.* disassemble movement down to the last screw.* clean all parts in ultrasonic and allow to dry (balance cleaned in One Dip or ultrasonic)* inspect all parts under 10x magnification for wear or damage.* reassemble movement. What should I ask for my Seamaster?
Just curious if anyone out there could give a newbie an idea of what a 2003 model Omega Seamaster-blue wavy face and gas release valve on the side, date window-would be worth selling it privately. I have a new Sub, a TAG Link, and a new PAM 221 on the way and I just don't wear this watch anymore. I paid $1300.00 for it new, and it is in great shape. I have the box and papers to go with it as well. It is a great watch, but I have been bitten by the PAM bug bad, and when I am not wearing it it's gonna be the Sub. I'll probably end up selling the TAG too to fund a 111, but I can't bring myself to do it yet...Thanks!!

New Rolex Daytona purchase
I have just completed the first part of a transaction that will see me purchasing a T/T 2018 Rolex Daytona 116503 (New Model) White MOP eight Diamonds Dial. I have just Sold a T/T 2017 Rolex Daytona 116503 (New Model) White Dial with Gold Sub Dials. I received a good price for it 9,750 GBP though I didn't sell it to the shop where I bought it less that a year ago, they were unable to pay me what I was looking for. So I sold it elsewhere, but I will be purchasing the new Daytona from the Dealer where I buy all my Watches which is a Grey Dealer in the North of England. They are exceptional when it comes to price. The new Daytona I am purchasing was priced at 14,565 GBP but because I am a regular customer they reduced it by 65 GBP which was very good of them. So the new Watch is costing me 14,500 GBP which is about 18,000 Dollars. I will be flying from my Country to Manchester UK at the end of May to pay the balance owed & collect my new Watch. I am very excited about this, hopefully
