- This is my 3rd Croton watch! I liked my first purchase so much I purchased additional watches in various styles and colors. I am finding that the time piece is very reliable; no issues at all.

Girard Perregaux P7605.24.52 wrist watches news:
Seiko has issued a statement thanking those who have expressed concern, and providing an update on the status of the company and its employees in the wake of the massive 8.9 magnitude earthquake and tsunami that struck Japan Friday afternoon local time. Find the complete text inside. Dear Friend of Seiko,We would like to thank the many people who have contacted us, expressing concern over the effects of Friday¡¯s earthquake. Our offices in Tokyo were undamaged and no one at Seiko Watch Corporation was directly affected. It is, however, too early to say that everyone in the group companies of Seiko is safe, and all we can do is hope for the best and offer our sympathy and thoughts to the many people in Japan who have suffered in the last hours and days. With kind regards,Seiko Watch Corporation
Where have I seen this look before? MB&F founder Max Busser doesn't hide the fact that he is inspired by science fiction and related culture in the creation of his timepiece novelties. The new MB&F No. 3 reminds me of a place between Star Wars' C3PO, "Batteries Not Included's" Wheem babybot, and Futurama's Bender. Compare the images, and I think you'll agree. Besides those references, there are plenty of other tech culture influences that went into the design of the No. 3 Sidewinder and Starcruiser. The difference between the two watches is orientation. Not THAT kind of orientation (anyone can wear them), but literally the way they are positioned. The Starcruiser is in a more vertical position with the crown pointed up, while the Sidewinder is turned on its side, with the dials stacked on each other and the crown pointed in toward your arm (assuming you are wearing the watch on your left wrist). Reading the time is based on looking at two conical gauges. One features the hours,
Today I visited the relatively new Omega Boutique in Chicago, on N. Michigan Ave (at the Westin). My intent was to examine and try on the 4 Museum watches in the current collection. A very nice store, and I spoke to a very nice and helpful sales assistant. She was sporting a 42mm Seamaster model by the way! Here's one of the store displays...They frowned upon photos within the store, but didn't mind photography of the actual watches, thankfully. The lighting, unfortunately, was not the best. The gorgeous pieces in question are these (photos from Omega's website):1938 Chronograph with Pulsometer (516.53.39.50.09.001)1941 Chronograph (516.53.38.50.01.001)1949 Chronograph (516.53.39.50.02.001)1952 Square (Cosmic case) (5705.30.01)And in the store...All were heavy, with their gold cases, and this one (my favorite) with the articulated lugs was huge, sprawling on the wrist:The 1938 has a gorgeous porcelain dial and Breguet hands:I'm afraid the contrasting white and pink areas of the case do n
Okay, so you have an Oris (or two or three etc)...If you could have just one more (modern) Oris, what would it be?And if you don't have an Oris, what would your one and only Oris be?For me, the Williams F1 series has always appealed to me, but I've never been able to quite justify adding one to my collection. But, for the sake of a 'what if' thread like this, here's what I would have:What can I say, I'm a sucker for blue.:).So how about you?The Jazz series? BC3, BC4, Meistertaucher.....??
Over the past year or two I have had a growing interest in the Sea Dweller. I started my Rolex collection with the 50th Anniversary Sub and thought my diver collection was complete. But over the last few years I¡¯d read more about the history and see all the incomings and my interest grew. My first SD pickup was the SD4K. What a watch. Slightly larger than the sub but fits well on my wrist. The next pickup was the SD43. Winner winner. Absolutely love it. I never thought the DSSD was going to be a watch for me, but the technological advances in that watch drew me in. I was able to try one on a few weeks ago and the size wasn¡¯t as big as I thought it would be. Definitely thick, but fits on my wrist. Wears smaller than 44mm I think, compared to a PAM I owned a while back. Must have something to do with their crown guard and how I wear my watches. The James Cameron was the one I wanted. 3-4 folks on the lists at AD¡¯s here locally and above MSRP from the grays. I was going to be traveling th
