Swatch Group-owned Tissot watches has just announced a major multi-year deal to become the official timekeeper of the NBA (National Basketball Association) and its associated entities. The deal means that Tissot will be prominently displayed in all NBA, WNBA, and other NBA-related events as the association's official timekeeper. This is big news, as American basketball is one of the more recent sports to be the recipient of heavy investments from Swiss watch makers. While there have been various deals among watch brands and teams or players, to my knowledge, there has not yet been (in recent history) any official timekeeper of the NBA at large.Tissot's relationship with the NBA is rather massive. The first thing that came to mind when I first saw this image in an e-mail from Hublot was "wait, what?" I didn't get it. What was this? At first I thought the image of Bernie Ecclestone was some type of painting. I?am not familiar with his face, but I do know of his work as the guy who runs Formula 1 racing. The British Billionaire's face was distorted with a painful looking black eye and other facial bruises. I do appreciate all the beautiful watch pics here but my "nails on chalkboard" pet peeve is photos of watches resting on rocks and other abrasive surfaces. Don't they get scratched up no matter how careful one is? What are your opinions or tips?Thanks,somed00d

DJ II plus cash for Bluesy?
Need some input.. Thinking of trading my Blue Roman DJ2 with fluted bezel plus 6k cash for a BNIB Bluesey Two Tone sub 116613LB. I currently have the DJ2, a 116610LV Hulk, and a Pam 233. Every time I wear my DJ2 I lust after the Hulk, and wish I wore the sub, but certainly appreciate a sunburst blue dial. Enter the Bluesy. Tried one on and it ticks all of my boxes, and will most likely be used for dressier occasions, that I would¡¯ve otherwise rocked the DJ2. For work I¡¯m regularly in a suit or scrubs. My only fear is having a collection of 3 with 2 of 3 being subs. The DJ adds a nice dressy component and change of style, so do you all feel that the 2-Tone can handle the task?
