IWC Big Pilot Watch In Blue For North American Boutique Shops
While there isn't a whole lot new about this watch, it does have a great black and blue motif to it. This is a special limited edition version of the IWC Big Pilot watch that will exclusively be available in IWC's North American boutique stores. There are still very few details about the watch, such as the price or the amount in the limited edition. What I can say is that IWC is a nice job "re-imagining" the dial in a sober sky blue splendor. There is also matching blue stitching on the alligator pilot style strap. The case is in all steel, and 46.2mm wide. It is everything you know and love about the Big Pilot complete with turnip style crown.The blue dial uses blue for most all the markers and hands. The designers did something that I like a lot, which is do the Arabic hour numerals in outlined blue mixed with the solid blue hour and minute markers. Beside the custom diamond dial, can someone tell base on the pictures if this watch is authentic or at least not fake?

Help me find a watch like this..
About a year ago my dad saw a watch on someone at the mall and it was orange faced with a clear acrylic band. He did not see the brand and said that he really liked the watch and wanted to pick one up. I would really like to get him one for his birthday/christmas coming up, but I have searched ALLLL over the place; forums, ebay, google, etc. I have found only two watches that match the description. One by the name of toy watch or something like that, and the other is ESO. My question to you watch experts is do any of you know of such a watch from any brand other than the two named? I don't really like the watches I found but that is all I could find. Perhaps theres an option to configurate a watch like that somewhere? Id prefer one that isnt toooo expensive either (like over 1k), but even if it is expensive list it anyways because maybe I can just tell him about it and he can buy it for himself or me and my mom could go in on it for him. Does the 5496p-001 (silver dial) have the Spiromax balance spring?
I see on Patek's website that the 5496p-014 (honey brown dial) has the Spiromax balance spring, but I can't seem to confirm if the 5496p-001 (discontinued silver dial) has it as well. Does anyone know?Are there any (other) updates in the 5496p-014 vs. the 5496p-001?Many thanks in advance.
