Graham 2TSABB02A wrist watches news:
Hi All, do you think any non-WIS's know how much a typical Co-Axial Omega Seamster Pro costs? I was just wondering. And by non-WIS I mean someone who doesn't even know what a crown is.
Is this deployant on the 45 PO and same as on the 42mm PO? Both tapering to 18mm? I always assumed the 45 was a larger closure. No?
Was in an AD today looking for the new PO when a guy came in asking about an Omega he had seen that glowed bright blue with lights in, the AD explained that Omega didn't make a watch like that. The guy was adament they did and had seen it the night before, the AD asked where and he said it was in a film and a man ended up in a ball in the snow and turned the lights on in the watch. Being a bit of a Bond and Omega fan I realised he was talking about the scene in The World is Not Enough. I told the AD what the man was on about and explained to the man it was from a Bond film and not real, he said it was real as he had seen it in the film and wanted one. The AD explained again that it was not real and only a prop from a film and never made for sale, but this is the best bit he turned round and told the AD if he couldn't get it he would got to another Omega dealer. Some people never listen and never belive I suppose thats what makes the world go round.
Hi everyone, I'm a lurker on this forum but have been a member for some time. I recently purchased a 5164a from a reputable second-hand dealer. The watch was used, albeit relatively young in age, and appeared to be in excellent condition; the dealer claimed they never retouched or polished the watch when I asked. I love the watch, h owever, a couple of days ago I noticed something odd. I noticed that the top part of the watch's bezel seemed to look a little asymmetrical, almost slightly deformed and not as angular as I expected from this watch. I've attached pictures of the watch and the deformity appears to be on the top right part of the bezel, between 12 and 1:06 o'clock. It's not easy to see, but if you look closely perhaps it becomes apparent..It almost appears to slope too much compared to the other corners of the bezel. Ever since I've noticed this, I've been obsessing over it and am honestly quite choked by it. Was this a case of an over polishing by the previous owner, therefo
Hi Guys,First post here so sorry in advanced if i sound noobish.Just got my first patek and have some questions for the patek gurus hereI got the 5980 used from a watch dealer and i noticed that the serial thats on the back of the bracelet is on the wrong location from the pictures i see on the internet. All of the serial i see online are located on the bottom side where as on mine it is on the top side. Is this an indication of anything? should i be worried that the watch have been disassembled before and put back wrongly? is this a fake? or am i thinking too much? Thanks in advance guysmy watch:other examples from the internet:
