- I bought this watch as a gift for my son. It's the classic museum watch with a bit of an edge, very sharp. Wish it came in a women's style; I'd buy for myself.

- I've had this watch for several years -- since it cost about $200 brand new. I finally need to replace the band, though, and find it will cost about $50 [$]to replace it! It's too nice a watch to go for a cheap replacement, but sheesh!

Invicta 10164 wrist watches news:
Simple is easy, if you don’t mind wearing the equivalent of a stick figure on your wrist. Simple with elegance and style is decidedly more difficult. Proportions and details must be perfect. With the Tonda 1950, the designers at Parmigiani Fleurier capture the brand’s essence with a few brushstrokes. Parmigiani’s newest movement – the twelfth in-house caliber from the manufacture – is the PF 700, an extra-thin automatic that powers the Tonda 1950. The movement is 30mm or 13 ? lignes in diameter and just 2.6 mm thick, with an off-center micro-oscillating weight in platinum 950. A single barrel provides 42 hours of autonomy. The nickel silver main plate is sand-blasted, circular-grained and then rhodium-plated. The bridges are sand-blasted, rubbed-down or “C?te de Gen¨¨ve” decorated, then beveled by hand and, finally, rhodium-plated. Also note the attractive finish of each wheel, beveled, sunk, circular-grained on both faces, then gilded before cut
The display of this timepiece comprises white Superluminova-treated hands, gliding over white lacquered Arabic numerals. They are joined by a black GMT hand, finalized by a red tip.The new Graham London watch is teamed with a black leather strap, adorned with grey stitches.
While going through some old boxes the other day I came across an old Bulova Accutron that I bought myself over 30 years ago. The battery died a long time ago and I never got around to replacing it. I put it away during one of our moves and it was forgotten until now. I just had my jeweler put a new battery in it and it works! I just set the time this afternoon but so far it is keeping good time. The crystal is scratched and needs to be replaced. It is 37mm wide. The case back, it needs to be cleaned.Notice the bracelet, no clasp! It is a flexible Speidel USA bracelet.Another shot of the Speidel flexible bracelet.Wrist shotI don't know what one of these would be worth today but it is full of memories for me and therefore priceless.
I am looking for a new or nib used speedy... would like a sapphire crystal so therefore looking presently at a Speedy racing pre owned with all the stuff. supposedly only a loupe could tell any wear.. from a collector but sold by a reputable reseller on this board.... question is : is this a good choice and are there any problems with a 3301 mov. I do not know how to date this item.. I am new to this having had a rolex for 18 years which i just sold.any and all advice respected....I only want a moon-regular moon with sapphire sandwich the chonometer racing auto.thanks in advance.
Hi all,Long time lurker, first time poster. I've been researching Calatravas recently, and am getting interested in three models in particular -- the 5196, 3796, and 3923. But before I take the plunge, I want to get a feel for how they fit. I plan on trying on a 5196 in an AD soon, but wanted to ask if anyone here can comment on the size of the 3796 and/or the 3293, particularly with how they wear on the wrist. My collection is mostly Rolex and Omega, between 34 (vintage) and 42mm, so I'm used to more contemporarily-sized pieces. For what it's worth, I have a 6.5 wrist. Basically, I'm wondering how either the 3796 or 3293 would look, if they come across as very small, or wear larger than they are. Thanks in advance to anyone who can provide some input!
