Graham 2SWAS.B14A.K06B wrist watches news:
Pity we don't have a British Watch Forum. Does anyone know of, or have they heard of a line of British watches known as Bravingtons? All my research can dig up is that the name belongs to a chain of jewelers which seems to be slowly disappearing (for whatever reason(s). I'm assuming the movements were made by a small independent Swiss watchmaker and then shipped over to Merrie Olde England where Bravington's then cased the movements to be sold in their stores. But I have no way to confirm this theory. If anyone has more info, it would be appreciated. The case is in rough shape but then, the original owner lived across The Pond.As you can tell, the caseback is not very much help..Thanx for looking.
Hi all, this is my first post here. I've been looking for a new watch and recently came across Swiss Military Watch and Charmex (CX) Swiss Military Watch. Originally, I thought maybe they were the same brand but their logos are pretty different so I started looking around. They're two different companies in Switzerland. How do they stack up against each other? Their pricing seems to be similar, the CX Swiss Military Watch models may be a little higher but that doesn't necessarily mean they're better. I'm leaning towards Swiss Military Watch just because they're a little more simplified and that's what I like. What do you guys think? Now, I know of 4 brands that use the term "Swiss Military." It's getting awfully confusing...-Wenger Swiss Military-Swiss Military Hanowa-Swiss Military Watch-Charmex (CX) Swiss Military Watch
Earlier in my life I wore watches with no date feature, heck that's all they had so of course a date never entered my reality.I have been wearing watches these days with a date. And now and then when I try to wear my Rolex Ex 1 I feel lost without the date.I just bought a Tudor Day Date, not arrived yet, and I'm wondering if I get used to it could I go back to a simple date only watch? So, could you go back?
....and I certainly have not seen all the offerings of Basal 2009, but I haven't seen anything from my favorite watch makers that's given me the urge to buy.
Merry Xmas everyone. I am looking to purchase my first Breitling. I know for Rolex(s) there are a couple of sellers on this site that offers good deals. But where does everyone get their Breitlings? How much of a discount is consider a good deal? Looking at a B01. PM me if you want to share your secrets.
