Jaeger LeCoultre Jaeger LeCoultre 22950 wrist watches news:
Hi AllMy Tag 1000 which has been going strong since the mid-80s has finally had its first major issue. The face has slipped round in the case. When I pull out the crown I can still adjust the time / date, albeit the date seems to be a little off center. This is an early 980.13N model.Based on some research in the forum it sounds like the dial feet have broken or possibly the stem although I think it is the former. See picture below.tag.jpgI spoke to the local repair shop and they said they dont do these repairs as soldering new feet discolors the face or gluing causes problems. They suggested buying a new dial (not so easy) and then they would repair for $75-$100. I would like to keep original face and avoid theese high costs of dial and repair. Any other suggestions welcomed???ThanksAndy
My son is a cook, so we like to watch cooking shows on TV. My favorite is the Anthony Bourdain show. I've noticed chefs like to wear nice watches.Anyway, I saw this close-up of his watch last night and snapped a screen grab. For the life of me, I can't figure out what this watch is. Please tell me!
I was at Jared on Monday paying my monthly payment. This Jared has a PreOwned counter. I had a 42.5 mm PO with a black bezel and black numbers and sold it a year and and 1/2 ago. I have a 16610 Submariner and it looked to close. Well I spied this 45mm Orange PO, $1899.99 PreOwned. I tried it on and it was one link short and the bezel was jacked up, it took vice grips practically to turn it, so I told the sales girl....no thanks. Then she says, I tell you what, I have a new one in the case over here, I'll give you that one for the same price and send this one to warranty to get fixed but I can only gove you a 1 year warranty with this new one. I bit for the new PO for $1899.99 plus tax and I love the 45mm PO and always had. The orange just pops, instantly recognizable IMO but I just wasn't gonna pay retail for a new one and I didnt have the cash to buy on here or on TimeZone. Speaking of TimeZone, it's looks like no one is buying there. All the add's have 0 replies......my 2255.80 has N
Hi folks,My AD in Zurich has one on hold for me until April 10th. I wont be buying it as it is out of my league but they are happy to sometimes hold watches for me. Normally I ask them to do so for friends and they know I am not in the market myself for such fine pieces. The price is 256kChf before 8% vat refund.I thought I would give you all a heads up that there is one here in Switzerland. With current prices and exchange rates I wanted to share this opportunity.I am not selling it, have no financial benefits (or other benefits that I know of)I am not affiliated with any PP dealers in any wayIf anybody is interested I can forward your details. Fair warning: There is no guarantee of course that they will finally sell it to you, they do a vetting of new clients, asking about your collection/PP ownership etc, so I have no control over whether you will finally get it, but I could offer a chance to jump the lines.Regards,DP.S. I am so impressed with the lume on this watch. My Rolex Submariner cant come close to holding out as long as my PAM000.I typically hit the sack around 9-10pm and and back up at 4:50am. Every morning I wake up I can tell what time it is by looking at the Panerai on my night table. That is impressive!
