- It has been decades sense I have found a watch that fits my wrist. I have a hard time getting any to fit, so I did not wear one for a long time, but this one will do just fine.

Vergo Avius is a new watch brand and super Italian. While they have the concept of Swiss movements but design is all Italian.
Given to me by my father. The second of his two nice watches he ever bought. This one he bought as he used to fly.He owned a Single Prop back when I was young, wantedme to learn to fly and was going to give me the plane...After a couple lessons I realized I liked to party too muchand didn't like to get up that early (this was when I was incollege and high school) but most importantly I just didn'tlike being in control of the planeI am a great passengerbut don't wanna have the stick...I wear it a couple times a month, it is not my typical stylewatch but I like it and always get compliments on it.IF anyone here knows more about the history of this modelI'd love to hear...
This is a 1915 Elgin, size 3/0s, 17 jewels, grade 423, serial number 18628019. I have only seen one of these size 3/0s Elgins with 17 jewels before, it had a broken staff and mainspring. It had no case or dial and it sold for about $400.00 a year ago. The database says that this was the 19th one manufactured in a run of 1000 but the Elgin Master Records say only 500 were made. Either way this one is off the charts on the rare scale! Which one is correct? The grade was only made for one year, 1915. The white gold filled Philadelphia case is in very good condition and I have not done a thing to it but wipe it down a bit. The case measures 36mm lug to lug and 31mm w/o the very nice crown. The dial has patina and is faded along with the hands. Movement is pretty clean but needs to be adjusted as it is running a bit fast right now. When it came in the mail today the band was the wrong size so I put a 16mm dark green Crocodile on it just to spruce it up a tad for the pictures. Crystal is fai
Watching this evening's show featuring the James Bond movie cars. Hammond was sporting a 3570.50 Speedy Pro in most of the shots, along with a PO on an orange strap in a few shots. They also talked with the original Stig, doing some stunt driving for the latest film - Skyfall.
