Oris 643 7654 7185-Set RS wrist watches news:
A mechanical watch depends on it's mainspring to power the movement. Few watch makers even manufactures their own mainspring. Seiko is one.Seiko¡¯s mainspring that powers the Grand Seiko, Spring Drives, Premier, Prospex, Spirit and possibly other JDM models is SPRON510. For general comparison, ETA¡¯s Nivaflex have a power reserve of 40 hrs while the standard Seiko Spron510¡¯s power reserve is 50 hrs.SPRON510 used since 2005 is a unique alloy hairspring that is more elastic and is non-magnetic and heat resistant. Raymond Weil Maestro, Open Balance WheelI've had my eye on this one for awhile now and finally decided to pull the trigger. I ordered it from my AD a couple weeks ago and UPS dropped it off just when I was getting home from work today. I was a bit torn between the open balance wheel and the small seconds versions, but this is the one that kept pulling me back. 39.5mm Diameter9.13mm ThickAs in many cases, the pics really don't do the watch justiceI think some outside daylight shots would be better so I'll have to do that sometime in the next few days.
Looking for some help with id'ing this watch. A model name and or model numberwould be awesome. Also any value would be greatly appreciated. Does have factory box and after market case. Thanks and God bless. Mark ps guess I'll have to post photo from my computer. Won'tSeem to work with my phone.
i know alot of you dont like big aced watches but i was wondering if you could give me some good choices as i would like to add one to my collection.
I know I know, this has been asked since the dawn of time.Ultimately I will make my own decision, but I am interested in knowing what people on this forum think.I am downsizing some of my Rolex collection (ss/pt yacht + 16610lv) to pick up an AP RO 15300. I have always wanted a blue dialed watch, but I'm also drawn towards the white/silver. My main collection would be an Aquanaut 5167/1a and the AP. The main reason why I haven't pulled the trigger on the blue yet is because I think some day I would like to own the Nautilus 5711 and wonder if having 2 blue dials would be a little much. I'm a much bigger fan of the white RO than I am the white Naut.Anyone have any thoughts or comments on my predicament?
