Breitling for Bentley Masterpiece: A Tribute to “W.O.”
Each year, Breitling creates a unique piece named Bentley Masterpiece: a mechanical magnum opus combining tradition, performances and the finest craftsmanship. This year at Baselworld, Breitling will unveil its new, one-of-a-kind Grande Complication pocket watch dedicated to the Bentley’s founder. The 2010 Masterpiece combines two sophisticated complications: a perpetual calendar displaying the date, day, month, leap years and moon phases, and a minute repeater. The movement, based on a late 19th century blank of which Breitling found just a few examples in its workshops, comprises almost 700 parts. The refined finishing ¨C hand polishing, chamfering, and C?tes de Gen¨¨ve ¨C is visible through a transparent caseback. In tribute to Walter Owen Bentley, the cover of the 18-carat yellow gold case is adorned with an engraving depicting him at the wheel of one of his racing models. Bell & Ross
I was in a jewelry store in McAllen, TX of all places and they had pieces from Zenith, Omega, Ball, Bell & Ross, Hamilton, Mont Blanc, Tag Heuer and a couple of others. I tried on several pieces and had a great time.What really surprised me was that I was fully prepared to dislike the Bell & Ross models but I ended up really liking them. I even like the square models especially the 42mm BR 03-92. I am a little concerned about the PVD wearing off, but I was amazed how much I like the look of it on my wrist. I might be more interested in the large date power reserve model, but I like the simplicity of this one.

Speedy Accuracy Question
My speedy is slowing inconsistantly. Minus 7 or 9 for a few days. Sometime out of the blue it drops 14 or 12. And once it even slows like 3 minutes per day. I check the time online everyday with gov.time so I'm pretty sure the watch is slowing down as I stated. Does anyone have that kind of issue with the manual speedy? Thanks.
