Zodiac maintenance
My Zodiac was dead. can't adjust the time until I install a new battery.I made this tool to remove the screw back case coverit was just a chunk of metal I had laying around, and I didn't feel like purchasing the spreader bar toolworks like a charm, made the prongs with 0.001 clearance, figured more clearance would marr the case?Zodiac with Renata battery both from the SwissWHOA, that battery was leaking. and wow, ain't seen the little plastic protector thingyinspecting the Rhonda movement and no evidence of acid damage, the little plastic protector has done it's dutyhhmmm, which one of these batteries is gonna fit?ahh, the German brand - "ya know the German's always make good stuff"fits perfectly. That little retainer clip is the BEST I've seen. Little bugger is awesome. lets button it upcool, sealed for water submersion and no marks at all on the casea close up for better inspectionjump on the scales before ya go.

Omega Speedmaster 145.012 or 105.012 question
Guys,Seen this at my local and they are listing it for a pretty low price.Dial seems intact - hands have been replaced I think.Tried looking up the added value of the Meister German seller on the dial but could not seem to find much.Also - on the case back on the inside I see a 105 012 66 as well as a 145 012 SP marking...Thanks anything helps. Is this a steal, or a project?
