Breitling A1335611/B719-357A wrist watches news:
I have been noticing that lately, the prices for 5960s and 5980s have started to come down. Do you think this is due to the ever slowing economy, or do you think that supply is finally catching up to demand ? After all, the 5960 and 5980 with there different chrono layouts dont appeal to as many people as did the more traditional chronos. What are your thoughts ?TIA Roger
Forgot about Amazon Sunday delivery, box came in with Spouse yesterday afternoon. I didn't notice the difference in the box size when ordering, the red strap (40MM) watch is packed in a box almost twice as large as the pink (39mm) along with a sturdy yellow outer cardboard box (the pink one has a lightweight generic outer box). Only one polishing cloth too, but I'm thinking about just picking up two nice ones to replace the one that was sent and they'll never know. Twins cost more when little, but at least they are delighted to receive exactly the same gifts. When it gets tricky is when they get older and each one is becoming an individual. How to buy different, but equal is a real challenge!Anyhow, the main event is just as good as they looked in the ad¡ªand Amazon has the same items this week for almost twice what we paid!
I'm completely new to Omega. Lately I've become interested in the sapphire sandwich speedmaster, either 3573 on a bracelet or 3873 on a strap. Love the watch itself, but having trouble getting excited about the Omega bracelet. Its probably just because its different than the Rolex oyster bracelets I'm used to, but its pretty likely that it will end up in the strap drawer. The croc strap seems nice, but I have some kind of phobia about single deployant buckles. I've never found them particularly comfortable or desirable.I see that 18mm Omega thumbnail buckles are readily available. Could I put a thumbnail buckle on the strap that comes with the 3873? Or would it be better to order a different croc strap that doesn't thin out at the end to accommodate the deployant? Does Omega make a strap for a thumbnail/tang buckle or has anybody had luck with another type of strap with a speedie? Thanks!
Hi All, has anyone got one of these? Struggling to find one in the UK and would love to see some wrist shots.....
I read all the incoming posts but nobody every puts what they paid for the watch. Why is that? Don't say etiquette or it's in poor taste. It's the internet and here's goatsy, so please don't even bother. I'm seeing $7500 for a used explorer 2 on IG (when I bought mine BNIB for $6200 from a trusted seller)I'm seeing $8200 for a 2010 DJ2 when i can buy a BNIB DJ41 for $8400 today from a trusted seller. These prices are crazy and as the consumer it's up to us to take back the margins.Thoughts on that?
