Jaeger LeCoultre Q2782560 wrist watches news:
Guten Tag again! A. Lange & S?hne sure is on a special-edition roll. We recently brought you the Langematik Perpetual in white gold, and we're happy to say that the Richard Lange Tourbillon "Pour le M¨¦rite" is getting the same treatment. These new editions are exciting because they give us another chance to take detailed looks at what makes these watches great. So, let's look on. 2 OF 18 Firstly, the dial is argent¨¦-colored solid-silver. This creates a noticeable contrast to the blued-steel hands and virtually flawless printing of the overlaying subdials. The case, in?finely polished gold with curved lugs, measures in at 41.9 mm by 12.2 mm. Some might think it too wide, but the design actually lives up to the model's lineage. The layout of the subsidiary dials is such that they are centered on the corners of an isosceles triangle. Here's an abridged Lange history lesson. In late-18th-century Dresden, Johann Heinrich Seyffert was known as a principal pioneer of Saxon watchm
I dropped my Spitfire the other day! It stopped working, so I took it to Sam. I just listened to his message and the repair is going to cost $300 - $350. However, this presents an interesting opportunity: I can send it to IWC and while they completely overhaul it I might be able to have them swap the dial for the silver version. It's always been my favorite, and I keep a pic of it in my Photobucket account. I've been trying to find a watch to add to the collection with a silver dial and posted about my silly back & forth waffling a couple times. I have the Heuer coming soon which will fill the black dial slot, so let's see what your opinions are on the subject. Should I fork over the extra cash to send it to IWC and have them fix it and change the dial or leave it black? Naturally we all know it's my choice in the end, but cast a vote anyway and feel free to elaborate why you went with that choice. Of course, here are the pics....As it is now with the black dial:with t
For years now, I've noticed a certain TV shopping channel promotes mega-hyped clearance events. But the watches are being sold at the usual prices, not steeply discounted as they would lead you to believe. For example, a Brand Y watch that sold for $800 when it was being aired on TV is now being sold - again - for $800. In between, the price jumped to $899. But the $800 price always returns when the vendor's show is scheduled. To me, this isn't a clearance sale - or a sale at all. Just more BS. Having owned an operated retail stores, I'd never do this to my customers. I believe people are smarter than that.In fairness, the TV channel does offer discounted shipping on clearance items - a savings of about $10. Of course, they raise and lower shipping charges too.End of observation.Since I don't buy from them anymore, it doesn't even qualify as a rant.Does this tick you off?
at the dark side. After being Panerai opponents throughout my watchcollectinglifefor the simple reason that the crown guard went away if you want to have the watch on your wrist becomes nothing good I think with this grotesque bodywork. Then they make a sandwich dial that is completely outstanding made me get up the eyes of Destro (left-hinged) model, which is a good compromise. The model 219 since missing a second hand made me the confident because I think Panerai withsub second be completely wrong proportions because it is so small relative to the rest of the watch, I think.Furthermore, I would like to have it brushed instead of mirror finish which is likely to be what it is suffering. The wife was with and inspected during unpacking and thought it seemed to be a crap watch when they sent a screwdriver. You should have it when it breaks down?Glassback and a decorated movement looks nice on a watch that can handle 300 meters.Naturally, it is alright readable in dark.
