Alright guys.. I think we have more IWC owners out there than we realize. And what better way to get people engaged than in pictures!! Also, we are seriously lacking in a Masthead Photo for the IWC forum. So, what are we gonna do about it? We're gonna have an IWC photo contest!!! Stay tuned for details, it'll officially kick off sometime in late January. But get those cameras warmed up & start thinking of ideas.....Stay tuned, more to come....
Home from work on Wednesday so I'm slipping into something more comfortable
aah ....they seemed to have cleaned up ....I did run into a slight problem....the Hamilton's back was slightly loose, so I snapped it down and now I cant't get it off anymore ! ...but before I snapped it back on ...I did check it out , but it was late,...the movement says Illinois, and Swiss both I think ......Here's the Hamiton....does this one have a name ? ...and it's from 1956........and of course, I am out of the lighter tan bands .....wouldn't you just know it ......and the back ....( oh and this is what I used to call a bubble back ....cause , it looks like a bubble back ....now I call it a pillow back .......)and now the Benrus .....and word is that you take the movement out through the crystal .....not this girl.....I've seen what a awful mess I make of trying to reglue a crystal .,.....that way lies ....eechhhh....and you can see, the dial is verrrrry nice .....and I put this band on it .....notice that the pressing of the band is the same waffle type as the dial ......and
I'm considering my next piece - always wanted an AP Panda while at the same time, the VC OS has a very nice presence. My reservation is the movement of the VC. What do you all think? Which would you choose? Any insight as to which is constructed better, overall holorgy value?ImageUploadedByTapatalk1370225211.092713.jpgOrImageUploadedByTapatalk1370225222.340780.jpg
I notice that Micah has interesting springs bars intended to replace lug screws. I am thinking of picking these up for my 372 to make strap changes easier and reduce the chance of messing up the lugs with an errant slip of a screw driver. Anyone using these now?
