TW Steel CE4003 wrist watches news:
Tissot has updated their Seastar line. The bezel is now ceramic and the movement is the Powermatic 80. I like the idea of a ceramic bezel and I can attest to the power reserve and accuracy of the Powermatic movement.Screen Shot 2014-06-01 at 5.45.33 PM.jpgScreen Shot 2014-06-01 at 5.46.33 PM.jpg
What do you prefer to tell time with, an analog or a digital watch? My self I love digital. Problem is analog watches look so much more classy. What's your preference and why?
I've been planning on purchasing my first AP since late last year, but have changed my mind several times. I'm not currently in a position to buy 2 different models, so one will have to satisfy me for a while. Here are the favorites in my price range, in no particular order:RG RubbercladSS 44mmCarbon 44mmCarbon DiverI also like the Diver & several of the new, updated 42mm versions, but think a stainless bezel will eventually disappoint me since I tend to scuff my current watches pretty easily. Of course these are also a significantly lower entry point as well, which isn't horrible either.I haven't tried on a Carbon 44 or even seen one in person, but have tried on the others. My wrists can support both size and weight of any of them without discomfort. My only concerns on the carbon models are that they are very unique, which might force me to get a more traditional AP down the road.Anyway, I'm still kind of all over the place and would likely be happy with any of them, but I'm l
Hello all,I decided I want a SP but when I started looking around I couldn't really find the one that smiled at me until I saw the Alaska project. I don't want to spend 5-6K on this one because the red additional case is of no interest to me but damn I love that white dial. Has there ever been a SP on bracelet with a white dial? I might be able to live with a silver dial but it seems that everyone I've seen with the manual wind has been black. Anyone know a ref number for a white or silver dial sp?Thank you,Ron
Given that Rolex like to tell us it takes a year to make a single watch.I was wondering when the new Basel 2018 watches would have been giventhe green light to start the production run for release to the market in 2018.I understand there will probably be a certain amount of modular design going on, for all the obvious reasons. Couldn't help pondering what the lead time would be for the thousands of 'All New' parts required for Baselworld 2018 releases?Any Rolex 'moles' logged in, for a 'horses mouth' opinion?
