Breitling a1338012/b995-1ld wrist watches news:
OMG, how did I miss this release last year!? I recently learned about the Erwin Sattler Thesaurus desk, and my horology gland nearly burst. OK, so this is the ultimate watch lover's desk. It combines a pair of Erwin Sattler Rotalis winders that pop out of the surface of the desk " take-over-the-world villain" style, and drawers that store you watch related loot.? I have no idea why it is called the "Thesaurus," but I will need to one help explain how awesome this thing is.Part of what makes it awesome is just how utterly impractical it is. To have enough room in one's home for a desk solely dedicated to their watches takes a lot of dedication (which I guess I personally have), and a lot of (I mean a lot) money. Not only is the Thesaurus likely to be ungodly expensive, but to have enough nice watches to fill it with, and some empty space in your home that is dying for watch dedicated furniture. At this point you probably have taken your watch collecting to legendary levels. And yet we s
Is this a refinished dial, or original? The seller says all of his dials are refinished in the description, however the title says all original. I see it says, "T-Swiss Made-T", and the hour batons appear to look like old lumecgi.ebay/ALL-ORIGINAL-OME...3A1%7C294%3A50thanks in advance!

I recently purchased a strap for my brand-new PAM 422 from Bruce and Donna Ginsberg that purported to be Horween shell cordovan. I own numerous pairs of Alden shell cordovan shoes and am quite familiar how the material looks and behaves in footwear. There are a number of things about this strap that seems suspect to me, including how supple it is immediately (my shell shoes have taken a long while for the uppers to soften), the lack of color depth, and the stamp on the underside of the strap. The stamp doesn't look like the standard Horween stamp, and the trademark symbol that is normally above the N in Horween is adjacent to it. Horween also tries to have small portions of the larger stamp on most parts of the underside of the shell, and yet that is not visible on this strap. If I had to guess, I'd think the strap was one of the imitation shell cordovan materials that are a coated calf or other such thing. Has anyone here purchased a shell strap from Bruce and Donna, and if so, are yo
Hey folks,Bought a used 116710LN a few months back in early August. Hasn't left my wrist since. It's my first Rolex and I absolutely love the damn thing. Unfortunately a little while ago I noticed that the hour hand drags behind by about 20mins. That is to say, the hour hand won't be pointing directly at the hour marker until the minute hand reaches the 4 o'clock position (ie 20min past the hour).I thought I could live with it for a while but with such a substantial misalignment it makes it difficult to accurately read the time at a glance. I emailed the dealer with no response and will probably head in later today to speak with him. My question is has anyone eelse experiences this before, what may cause this and whether you think it's the dealer's or my responsibility to fix? Thanks everyone. You're all legends.R.
