Breguet 3810ST/92/9ZU wrist watches news:
It is getting to the point where I write more than anything else, but that is OK because I love it. Eventually some of you will need to help contribute to keep all my content bases covered. My newest area of watch passion expression is Examinerwatches-dealer. The fare is arguably lighter, but is for a slightly different audience - still the talk is on watches. Examinerwatches-dealer will need no introduction to some, but is basically a large news and opinion site where writers of different focuses and specializations are selected and given dedicated pages. I've been selected as the Men's Luxury Style writer for San Francisco, which essentially means that I will be talking about watches. Though when related luxury style items come up, I am sure I will mention them ("but watches are all that I know!").I've added an RSS read in the left column of aBlogtoReadwatches-dealer. You can click there to read my latest articles on Examinerwatches-dealer. Or you can visit my Men's Luxury Style page
Wow, a watch forum where people regularly discuss Benrus! Been lurking for a while and finally decided to chime in. My "home forum" is the Timex Vintage forum and I also frequent the MWR and TZ Vintage site. I've been collecting vintage watches for about seven years now. Benrus became an earlyl favorite for sentimental reasons. In the Queens neighborhood where I grew up a local jeweler had a large BENRUS sign on its wall. My father also had a nice Bennie as his dress watch; sadly I sold it before I got bit by the bug. I have about two dozen Benrus watches, including the fan case shown on 3/14. But I don't have any grails yet like the triple-date, Dial-orama, Sky Chief, auto with power reserve, or Types 1 & 2. I also collect Timex, Seiko, and Hamilton, but pick up what I like more than anything else. My "active wear" collection totals about 90 at this point. I tend to stay off the bay for reasons of temptation and limit my trolling to yard sales and flea markets. I appreciate the ki
Would love to find a 1st series AOPA/black dial Navitimer in great shape. 4 digit Sub prices are crazy even with the sheer numbers there are I've decided to focus on the Breitling. According to the literature posted it's going to be from '55-'63 for Navi or a Cosmo '63-'64 with bead bezel and panda dials. I'd like to wear it!Anyone care to share resources? Your personal hunt/luck story? Care/service antidotes? What to look for? Thanks!
