Well, this thread has been a long time coming. I say that because I recieved this beautiful Benrus pocket watch from a very good friend here at this forum, whose name will remain anonymous, (hint - he is a moderator here at the American! - hint). This friend knows that I am a Benrus devotee and had been thinking of starting a collection of PW's, so being the great guy and horilogical lover that he is, gave me this Bennie PW. What a guy, right? Well, I promised him that I would do a thread on this PW for a long time and I dragged my feet, not intentionally, but because my picture taking ability stinks and I was busy for awhile there. (Bad excuses, I know...) Well, enough blather, here she is! - Now the reason I called it "the" Benrus PW, is because this is the only Benrus PW I've ever seen. They did not seem to get into the PW market in a big way like some other manufacturers did. But they did do a wonderful job on this watch. Very nice looking dial with a nice sub-dial for the seconds
Hey all:I am so happy these days...I am celebrating my new Orients:Multi-Eye: discountwatchstore/store 75091.htmlandOrient Wide Calendar: discountwatchstore/store 61419.htmlI had wanted two Orient dress autos. I have the Multi-Eye in blue (which is gorgeous). I love the different style/position of the day feature. Again I ask, HOW ON EARTH CAN ORIENT PRODUCE SUCH BEAUTIFUL WATCHES, SUCH STYLE, SUCH CLASS, SUCH QUALITY, SUCH VALUE, SUCH DETAIL.....FOR SO LITTLE?All my best,Angelis

IS IT TRUE THAT THE ONLY WATCH THAT HAS A GLIDING SECOND HAND MOVEMENT AND IS CONTROLED BY QUARTZ AND HAS THE DAY OF THE WEEK IS THE BULOVA ACCUQUARTZ 224 movement?
