Maurice Lacroix LC1228-SS001-131 wrist watches news:
Last year in 2013, Audemars Piguet inaugurated its first Art Basel show. The storied Swiss watch maker began its initial five year contract with the world-renowned art industry event whose conventions take place in cities such as Miami and Hong Kong. Nevertheless, Art Basel began in the city of Basel, Switzerland, which also happens to be the longstanding home of Baselworld ¨C the premier annual watch and jewelry show those of us in the watch industry regularly attend. Art Basel continues to hold annual conventions in its home city in Switzerland, and is often regarded as the world¡¯s most important art industry gathering.Ironically, Audemars Piguet does not display their new watch products at the Baselworld event in Basel each year (any longer), but rather at the SIHH event along with the Richemont Group brands in Geneva (though Audemars Piguet is an independent brand and not part of the Richemont Group). That makes Art Basel the annual occasion for Audemars Piguet to show off their par

Orsa - Anyone have one of these?Looks a lot like a khaki field. Is there a hamilton affiliation or this a case of imitation being the sincerest form of flattery?
With all of the speculation swirling around about the term "TRENCH WATCH" recently I have decided to share some of my research.I found this evidence about 2-3 months ago while doing research for my 2nd book, "Waltham Trench Watches of the Great War".This is pretty much the Holy Grail of documents!Yes, they were called "Trench Watches" during the Great War and it looks like the Waltham Watch Company coined the term.I have found no earlier evidence using this phase so until something else pops up down the road I am going to credit Waltham for coining the term.A couple of other later adverts do exist using the term "Trench Watch" from 1917 and 1918 but these adverts were from small time jewelers, they were not from a major manufacturer like Waltham. This advert was published on April 16, 1916 in the UK, two full years into the Great War.When it comes to a lot of urban legends and myths there is usually some truth involved, but then the facts gets twisted over the years. But, in this instanc
As title says, im contemplating buying an older and quite nice 13048 SS/18k. Only problem ist that it has the white dial. This model IMHO suits the black dial alot more. Soo, where to source this? Much easier if it was omega as ofrei/ebay/watchadoo/i could go on and on has tons of parts. And im not interested in getting 13050 dial. Needs to be correct.thanks
