Of course you have to check everything out, so start with the dial and hands.Looking good, now take a peek at how crisp the lugs and case edges are plus there's no wear on the crown:A quick glance at the hallmarks:And for my favorite part - the caseback:I've never seen one with so much frosting left on the caseback. It's a good day!

My Longines Charles Lindbergh Hour Angle
As some of you may already know, I acquired this from a private seller in early January. I've had a few members asking me about the watch and how it functions. Got one of my Grails!
A "Grail Watch" means different things to different people and can be at any price point. My "Holy Grail" would be a Breguet, however I can't imagine ever having the resources to make me comfortable spending that kind of money for a watch. I've long had a couple of others GrailsThe Rolex Explorer I and the Omega SMP. I've wanted an Omega Seamaster for years. My first memory of looking at watches in a jewelry store had me drooling all over their Omega case. On Monday, I got an email ad from a grey market dealer with a fantastic price and it got me thinking (obsessing) about it. I picked up the phone and called my favorite AD, told him about the price and asked him what he could do. He got really competitive and today it arrived!I looked hard at the PO, but I've got smallish wrists and figured that the SMPc's more svelt dimensions would be a better long term option for me. I had some serious reservations about the 2500 movement after reading about some of the issues with the A and B
