In two days, the first watches-dealer Instagram-based giveaway for THREE Ancon watches we have undertaken in partnership with Canadian watch retailer Matt Baily, will end. The giveaway involves people uploading images to Instagram with the #anconatmattbaily tag and then people voting on their favorite pictures. The top three pictures (that follow the rules) will each receive an Ancon watch. Now, you need to vote (by liking the photos). So, take a few minutes to see some fantastic watch photos from fellow readers and vote for your favorites! You can either use Instagram on your phone and search for hashtag #anconatmattbaily or use Statigram here (you'll still need to log in with your Instagram account) to vote for the best pictures. Those who don't follow the rules won't win). Thanks again for all the peop
(maybe)and in the limelight of the new great ceramic gmts these seem to fade away. It's been two years since i had my last one, and today I picked this one up. Some quick and dirty (look at all the dust, YUCK!) shots reveal....its fun to look at. I'll get on track and get some real shots in the next few days!Hope you enjoy
I was in Las Vegas last week and the IWC Dealer offered me a Big Pilot shipped to FL for $10,000, brand new in the box.I didnt take it but have a week to call him back if I want it.Some said this wasnt a good deal since its down to $9400.Any thoughts?thanksDon
Thought this was interesting. BR is a clothing store in case you¡¯re not familiar. I¡¯m not posting a direct link but here¡¯s a screenshot. This morning they had a 5 digit Sub (I think) listed for $7950 or so; it¡¯s since been removed. The dial that was pictured did not include the ¡°Superlative Chronometer Officially Certified¡± text... but the bracelet looked more modern. Seemed fishy. If you Google ¡°Banana Republic Rolex¡± you¡¯ll find other listings and possibly a cached result for the Submariner. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
If a new sub comes out at Basel, will it be possible to walk into an AD and pick it up? or will the demand be very high and you have to be on a waiting list for a long time... thanks.
