Newly Arrived: Tissot Luxury Automatic (Powermatic 80) Review and Pictures
Good lord I'm weak I was looking at watches at a jewerly store which is an affiliate of my company and they had one Tissot Powermatic on display. Asked to look at it and the clerk immediately said he could give me a great deal. I mentioned I was an employee and got an employee discount on top of it. Bottom line, it wasn't much more than the Tissot Le Locle I just bought a few weeks ago. I'm just going to repost what I just wrote on my personal site a few minutes ago, but just as a note, I did get to test the power reserve and accuracy (of course, it was just sitting in the box) as I got the watch Tuesday and today was the first time I was able to wear it. The Tissot Luxury Automatic features the ETA C07.111 movement which boasts an 80 power reserve.Watch and Wound describes the “new” ETA movement: The C07 is in fact a heavily modified ETA 2824-2 movement, which we are all very familiar with.
