Breitling A1332033/G698-leather-black-deployant wrist watches news:
The Nico Gerard Pinnacle watch that combines a mechanical timepiece with an Apple Watch is probably a good idea, but executed with a price that makes it utterly unrealistic. As we have said here time and again, smart watches are a growing segment, and one that we expect to continue covering for some time. Of course, probably the most anticipated smart watch release this year was the Apple Watch, though sales seem like they might be a bit off. If you find yourself in the camp of wanting an Apple Watch, and still want to wear your traditional mechanical watch, what are you to do? You could certainly wear a watch on each wrist. While that is something I have grown accustomed to, I realize that not everyone may be ready for that. That, then, leaves the option of leaving one of the watches at home, or figuring out how to get both onto a single bracelet. That is what we have here with the Nico Gerard Pinnacle. This is not the first time we have seen an Apple watch combined with a regular watc
I thought you folk might be interested in thisI went along to the local AD for the Basel 2008 show and got my hands on the DS mock up. None of the "watches" had movements in them but the cases, bracelets etc were real and also the weight of the watches was correct.WOW it is a monsterEverything about the watch is stunning, the ceramic bezel, the bezel rotation, the bracelet, seems to me Rolex are heading in the right direction with the mods. But boy its big, I thought the SD was a big watch but check out the lugs on this baby :o....While I was there also tried this one for size. It's platinum, its big like all the 08 watches and it costs.. +$60k apparently.I don't think the DS is the one for me but I'm sure Rolex will release a new ss sub and that will be the one, Basel 2009 perhaps. The new bracelets are great with solid links and click micro adjustment built into the clap that allows the bracelet to be adjusted about 15 - 20 mm without having to remove springbars and links.I had a lo

Had been casually looking for a speedy and really liked the 3570.40 with the racing dial. They don't come up that often Hodinkee had one on their Friday feature from HQ milton and it sold in an hour for $5500 with no papers. Then I found one all complete and pretty unworn but they guy wanted $7500!resorted to just doing a dial swap... Even was in Tokyo and asked everywhere and ppl just laughed or shook their head. Then while in Miami of all places one pop'ed up. it was head only but had the original hand tag and the serials all matched up! I paid what I think was fair considering they don't show up often and I was in town. Been love ever since. the color combo IRL is stellar and and the pics online can't even compare. been wearing it non-stop and its kindled a desire for more speedy's!Bought a 1125 for it (need proper end links, can anyone help? called around none avail) and love the 1125 its a cross between a jubilee and sub bracelet. Also looks IMO way better on a 1125 then the cur
So I was lucky enough to pick up a 116610lv earlier this year which I thoroughly have enjoyed. I have since I first seen the 116710BLNR I've always fancied picking one up. On my travels I see quite a few GMT's in the blue/black in US stores but they are like hen's teeth in UK AD's. So after 4 or 5 months on the waiting list, the call from my trusted AD arrived yesterday and I am now the proud owner of a colourful GMT II.Stickers are still on, as I'm trying to decide whether to lock it away for a year or two or wear it, as I love the LV so much...It's interestingly slightly thinner than the Submariner to my eye, maybe the lesser depth rating.Anyway, I'm very happy with my collection.Interestingly they had a two tone Sky Dweller (gold/steel) for list. I was tempted but rule is always stainless sports models for me.Feeling very lucky to have picked up these two, and my AD will have another sale as soon as they find me a Sea Dweller red dot.... Now the ceramic daytona - if only....
