Got this at an auction yesterday for cheap. I think it's a neat little watch.It's in fantastic shape. The band has no wear on it, nor does the watch. I don't see any gunk in the band links or on the back of the watch. The face has some minor scratches but overall, it's quiet sharp! I think it's from the 60's-70's?The band is pretty large, it's fit me well (I have large wrists)Not technically American, made in Germany, but I thought that some of the Elgin buffs might know more about it.So if anyone has any info on it, let me know!And of course, a price would be nice. With all of my watches, I'm always looking towards the chance of selling it for profit

Long Wait!!
Just dropped off my GMT at the AD for a service, I only bought the watch second hand a couple of weeks ago and finally got the time to take it in. The time frame I was given was 2-4 weeks to receive the quote, then 6-8 weeks from time of approval to it being ready, lucky I have my DJ to wear in the meantime! Excited for it to come back looking like new so I can start my own journey with the watch and know it��s in perfect health. Do any of you guys follow the same approach when obtaining a second hand watch? What do you do in the meantime while you��re waiting for it to return?Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
