Rado R13598102 wrist watches news:
I love writing about Invicta watches because you readers get so worked up about them with your polarizing viewpoints. Some of you swear by Invicta carrying around your collection of 47 'ShopNBC specials' in a duffel bag at all times, while other wouldn't touch them with their worst enemy's wrist. It is true that Invicta has a lot of hit and misses, as well as a broad range prices to go with their watches. Sometimes it is actually not fair, because you can't compare a $1,000 Invicta with a $50 one - but they both have the same name on the dial, so what are you to do?Here is one of their "Invicta Reserve" models which is supposed to be a higher-end piece with a Swiss movement and more interesting features. I've been playing with this lovely 116610 Submariner on loan from Rolex USA all weekend. Look for a review next week!
Can someone help me identify what year & model this is. I think it's between 71-75' and came from Europe. I got this when I was a kid back around 77' from my grandfather. I recently got it working again. New second hand sweep, crown & crystal. It is a self winding, quick set day date calendar. The gold electro plate is pretty much gone. I think the watch tech said it was a Felsa movement. Thanks for the help,Odin
I just received my wife's watch back from AP. They fixed the clasp and replaced the battery. The watch came back with the time set 5 minutes behind. Well, it is what it is. Here are some pics. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk. Watches are the new currency!
Some new pics taken of my lovely 5711.
