I was going to keep this on the down low for a while but I am so excited about my new purchase that I can hardly contain myself.Thanks to DavidSW for this magnificent piece. Hand delivered to my folks in Orlando (They got back from a 2 month stay in FL yesterday) and I picked this beauty up last night after work.Count me in on the AP Owners list!If you're wondering what I did before that I did it again, I just bought my first Panerai about a month ago from drgross/dra144. Seamaster conversion?
I have an omega seamaster Bond and would like to put a 2254 dial/hand and bezel on it. Cannot get the local Omega dealer to even entertain the idea. The actual watch has tremendous sentimental value - else I would have bought one (a 2254). Does anyone know of such dial/hands/bezel swaps being accomplished?thanks!steve

My new (and first) PP 5711
Well first of all, as several of you know I wasn't sure which PP to buy so I solicited opinions/suggestions from you all on this forum. After weighing all the different possibilities I decided to purchase a new 5711/01A as my first PP and honestly, I couldn't be happier. I decided to park my Daytona and use this one as my daily watch. My Daytona shows plenty of wear with scratches and such but I purchase watches to wear so I expect this one to be no different.
