Breguet 5140 BB wrist watches news:
Patek Philippe's showing at Baselworld 2015 was, in my belief, its strongest in years. We saw them show absolutely stunning updates to the 5170G (black dial, oversized breguet, leaf hands make a world of difference) and 5270 (now available in rose, and no more chin on existing g models). We also saw perhaps the best watch Patek has made since the 5970P in the 5370P – a platinum split seconds chronograph with a black enamel dial. OK, they also brought out the least Patek watch they've ever made in the 5524G but we've already covered that craziness here. One piece from Basel that we haven't talked about yet and is just now hitting authorized dealers is the new Nautilus 5711 in rose gold. 1 OF 6 The 5711 in solid rose gold is a watch that I bet many of you probably thought already existed – and it did, just without a gold bracelet. And if you know anything about Genta designs, these watches are simply incomplete if not on a bracelet. So, a 5711 in
Thinking about my first Omega.Any thoughts on this? Previously owned, no paperwork or warranty.Light scratches to SS from wear. Sapphire is clean and un marked.Does it look genuine?
I will probably get flamed for this, but I am questioning the price of owning a Patek. I am new to this forum, but have been collecting high end watches for years. Please educate me on these watches. Rolex is my watch of choice but I own several others - I just cannot seem to justify the jump in price for a watch where the craftmanship might be higher, but the raw materials are SIGNIFICANTLY less than that of a Rolex. Especially on the leather band watches (which I think look really cheap, but that's just my opinion). Please fill me in.
GuysMany of you know that I was going to pick up a Speedy Moonwatch this coming Christmas.Well...I just visited my local jeweller and discovered that follwing the recent Omega price increase the Moonwatch has gone up ?500!!!!!!!!!!!!That now puts this watch at over ?2000...very close to used Rolex GMT2 Pepsi territory. Now I haven't got a clue what to do?Any advice?J
So, tonight I had the honour, fortune and joy of attending a Patek event at my local AD, they had a combination of fine food and champagne, and the watches that dreams are made of. Basel 2016 releases and classics (Except 5711). One of the staff kindly reminded me that the chances of having this volume of pieces in the same room together again are slim to none. So i was encouraged to seize the opportunity and enjoy it! Pictures below for you all to enjoy. I would love to upload all the pictures I've got but I've got loads. So instead here's what I've considered my favourites!Quality isn't great but that's mostly the lighting. Enjoy!! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
