- The watch is beautiful, if you purchase an automatic, know that you may have to set and wind, each time. The manual says 5-6, I have done it at least 8-9.It is awesome to see inside, and the crystals look great in many lights.

Seiko SPC088 wrist watches news:
On Tuesday May 12, Sotheby’s realized $9,488,754 (CHF 10,498,500 / €7,024,336) for a fancy vivid blue, internally flawless cushion-shaped diamond weighing 7.03 carats. This is the highest price for a fancy vivid blue diamond sold at auction and the world-record price per carat for any gemstone sold at auction – $1,349,752. The sale was held in Geneva, and the price topped the pre-sale estimate of $5.8-8.5 million. The diamond, which was cut from a 26.58 carat rough, was discovered in 2008 at Petra Diamonds¡¯ historic Cullinan diamond mine in South Africa, the world¡¯s most consistently reliable source of blue diamonds. The Gemological Institute of America (GIA) graded the stone as fancy vivid blue in color and internally flawless in clarity, the highest possible grading for a blue diamond. The winning bidder, who wishes to remain anonymous, has not yet exercised his or her privilege to name the stone.
OK, sorry, no pictures - yet. I'll try to get some later. But, I've been curious as to whether Rolex made the dial of the Deep-Sea any larger or if they kept it the same. Without a Sea-Dweller 4000 to compare it to, I compared it to the Sub. Keep in mind I'm not taking out the movements to get to the dials. So the measurements are from the top. So they're not 100% precise, but I think they're within .2 or .3mm tolerance. The Deep-Sea's dial measures 27.3mmThe Sub's dial measures 27.1mmSo, I'd say they're pretty much the sameAlso, someone mentioned that it looks like the date window is closer to the stem on the Deep-Sea. It appeared that way to me too. So I measure this too.. Nope. Both the Deep-Sea & Sub's date is 2.5mm from the outside edge of the dial. I'm assuming the stepped rehaut is what's making it look that way...But anyways, thought I'd share those stats....
Well I just got home from the Breitling party. The new pres. of Breitling, Phillipe, was there and they had about 150 timepieces including all of the 2008 models that have not gotten into full circulation yet. The dinner was very nice with only about 25 guests invited. They had all the watches out on tables so you could just walk around and try on anyone you like, such as a 200k Flying B. I had my eye on the chronomatic 49mm. It was not that impressive to me online but in person it is a very nice watch!!! Sorry about the horrible pics guys, my camera phone was all I had
Just got this one this afternoon. Overall in very good shape with only a nick at 6 o'clock on the crystal. Not even sure if this comes from the Horizon Look line, but the crystal does wrap around to sit flush with the bezel. This watch uses the 654 23 jewel Swiss automatic movement. It has a diameter of 32mm and the case is 10k gold filled. The movement is a bit stiff to wind and set, so at some point, it will go off the watchmaker. So, does this watch belong to the Horizon Look family and does it have a name? (PS, the photos of the case and the movement are from the auction, as I can't seem to pop the back off and it is in such good shape, I'm just not going to scratch it)
All I'm saying, it's a diver.
