Precista PRS-5. chronographe ¨¤ remontage manuel bas¨¦ sur un mouvement Chinois Seagull ST-19 Eddie Platts the owner of timefactors.com made this hommage of the British Army dotation mechanical chronograph. This one is part of the second serial, the first one was made under the broadarrow label with a Poljot 3133 movement.Since Eddie can no more use the Broadarrow label so he use his own label Precista. The ST-19 is a column wheel chronograph movement its origin comes from the Swiss Venus 175, it's more or less the Chinese counterpart of the Russian Poljot 3133. Just wanted to know what the consensus is with the Tourby using vintage 917 Hamilton movements. Is it considered a franken? Thanks.
I think I'm going to take the plunge and buy one on the grey market. If you have one, what did you pay for yours? year + condition? I'm looking at new listings in the low 40s, high 30s, with gently used ones for slightly less in the high 30s. I'm waiting to hear back on a quote from a store in Boston that can beat the prices from every other store in the area. What do you think I should realistically haggle the price down to?
I have an AP RO 15300 with BLU dial, year 2009 complete with box and papers. I am tempted to sell it to finance another big watch, but seeing its continuous increase in value I am not convinced anymore. Should I keep it? Thank you!
Hey folks, is it 20mm?
