Jaeger LeCoultre 270.8.62 wrist watches news:
Special thanks to?Z. D. Smith for putting together this edition of Pairs Well WithWhat makes the Seagull such an effective and pleasant watch is its understatement; it has got both military styling and a high-quality mechanical movement, but the details are subtle and neither the functionality nor the worksmanship jump out at you. In other words, it’s got a little class. At the same time, it’s a rugged, unpretentious watch and with its throwback looks and olive NATO band, it goes best with an outfit that communicates comfort and ruggedness. So the theme of the day is a union of understated, high quality with military and/or throwback styling.Seagull 1963Sunny Sports “1940’s Railroad” Organic Cotton Japanese Selvedge Chambray Work Shirt in Sumi ?Sunny Sports is at the very high end of Japanese heritage workwear. WTF Rolex Forum Members and Friends:I wanted to take this opportunity to apologize to Jake of Jake's Rolex Watch Blog (rolexwatchblog).Jake approached me some months ago asking for a link on The Rolex Reference Page, as well some general cooperation. Of course, I get several such requests all the time. When I took a look at his watch blog, I didn't see a lot of original content (at the time it had mostly celebrity shots wearing Rolex watches and catalog shots) or depth of information. I politely declined, thinking that perhaps Jake was a new Rolex owner that had decided to put up a blog that might be gone in a few months when his interests shifted in another direction. Boy, was I wrong. In the past few months Jake has filled his blog with incredibly in-depth content. Quite honestly, Jake has done amazingly in-depth research into previously untaped areas of Rolex history and lore, and published his findings for free on his blog. My hats off to Jake and his contribution to the Rol
A guy on ebay was selling a Bond GMT in black face. And claiming it was genuine. To the best of my knowledge, this style only ever came in blue.If I'm wrong ? I'd like to know. I would love to own this style in "black".Here is the link:Omega seamaster GMT co-axial chronometer - eBay (item 270777142618 end time Jul-09-11 10:23:54 PDT)thx for your expertise.
Post some photos of your favorite Rolex watch from your own collection. Luckily for me I only got one Rolex! That way I don't need to choose.
I know nothing about Omegas hence a call for help.Theres a rather nice speedie I am interested in but my BS radar is ticking as the seller insists its marked with 16 jewel movement. The back is transparent if that helps)I cant seem to find any reference to a movement that is not 17 jewel.Rather than go look at the watch before being sure its Ok are there any Speedmaster experts out there who can enlighten me?Did Omega in fact release a Speedie with a 16 Jewel movement?
