Patek Philippe Patek Philippe 13984 wrist watches news:
Is it weird that I sometimes compare watches with things I know in pop culture? I find it especially gratifying to compare exclusive multi-hundred thousand dollar timepieces with such plebeian pop culture essentials as the Tusken Raider Sand People from the Star Wars universe. Really though, look at the face of this Harry Winston Histoire de Tourbillon No. 1 and tell me that it does not (at least vaguely) remind you of the face of the Sand People (Person?). I see the axis points of the two tourbillon escapements akin to the eyes, and the dial as being similar to the circular Sand Person desert mask mouth. There are also the vertical slits that are present on both the watch and the Tusken Raider¡¯s facial garb. Seems like a pretty good fit to me. If you recall, a while ago I also discussed the best watches for Darth Vader here, and there of course there was the MB&F Horological Machine No. 3 that had a resemblance to 3-CPO. I don¡¯t think it is me, I think the watch makers are doing
A typical high-powered racing instrument, the new Graham watch comes packaged in a 47mm case. It is rendered in black PVD-treated steel. The case is encircled by a steel bezel with a "Clous de Paris" pattern and a tachymeter scale. The case reveals black PVD-treated steel right hand control pushers with "Clous de Paris" high grip decoration. The front side of the model is shielded by a domed sapphire crystal with internal and external glare-proofed coating. The timepiece also features a smoked see-through sapphire crystal case-back engraved with a limited edition serial number. The case is built to be 100-meter water-resistant.

Hi all,Tried this:.omegawatches/gents/sp...32110425002001 on at an Omega Boutique yesterday and can't believe how stunning it is. So much better looking in real life than the photos can ever portray.I really like it and am surprised there doesn't seem to be much love for these on the forums? Or maybe my searching fu in not working very well!Seriously thinking of purchasing one, it's got the 3313 movement, which is a self-winding chronograph movement with column wheel mechanism and co-axial escapement .I trust this movement is now rock solid after initial problems years ago?Anyone know any more info about this watch and any potential problems with it?Any reason why/ why not to get one?Anyone own one? Thanks in advance for any info.
And pics do not do justice to its beauty!!
