Seiko Seiko 17361 wrist watches news:
ok, i just picked up a sub-no date.. do i need to buy a watch winder or is it ok to just leave the watch in the box when not in use for a period of time? thanks.
Is the cal. 350 back wind a good investment? Was this movement made by Lecoultre? Thanks for any information that can be provided. I understand there were 2 models. 2nd model was an improved updated movement.
Yesterday I received a very nice Certina Chronolympic, Ref. 674 3559 41, circa 1975. It's case is a lot like my Heuers at 43mm x 42mm x 14mm. It has a dark blue dial and is powered by an automatic Certina Cal. 674 / Valjoux 7750. It came sans strap or bracelet so I put it on a navy NATOA few pictures:
Picked up a awesome full size auto 2255.80, the dial on these are top notch. My question is about swapping out the orginal ss bracelet for a strap as I cannot get the bracelet to fit the way I want it to. If I buy a nato or similar strap do I need to change the spring bars as well? Should I bring the watch into a shop to swap it or can a novice change out the stap with the proper spring bar tool? My first omega and second fine time peice. Ah I wish I had more money, need more watches!!!!
