Omega Omega 36518 wrist watches news:
HI, I am fairly new to the forum and am looking for some help. I have found a Speedy Pro Gemini IV at a very reputable AD, they are holding it for me, I really like the watch and would love to have it. My question is, should I expect some discount, or pay retail? The watch is BNIB and the salesperson told me that they have 5 in their whole company. Thanks for any help you may give.
I was at one my local AD this morning to pick up a replacement strap for my wife's watch when I spotted one of the most special Seiko 5 one could possibly own. This is one I am looking out to but but unfortunately that will have to wait as the watch in display is not for sale. But my AD promise he will source for one for me. Seiko 5 Diver SKZ205K - sorry for the quick and dirty photo.Anyone else here who owns one? Please feel free to share photos and impression on it. Cheers!
I'm not actually asking what a vintage LeCoultre chrono would cost today but rather how much did a LeCoultre Chrono cost back in the early 70s?I ask because I just watched Electra Glide in Blue starring Robert Blake (1973) and they show a close up of his watch and it's a LeCoultre chronograph and from what I know about LeCoultre, I find it difficult to believe that a rookie motorcycle cop in Arizona could afford one.
Just wanted to say hello to everyone here and include a couple of photos of my new 26331ST. It¡¯s my first AP and first from a ¡°higher end¡± brand. Before this watch, my collection primarily included Rolex, Omega, and Grand Seiko. I love chronographs and use the complication on a regular basis at work, so it was natural for me want a ROC as my first AP. I tried on a few ROCs at the AD, including the 26320 in both the white and black dials, and the 26331 white dial really stood out to me. I was never able to see or try on a blue dial ROC in-person, but I convinced myself that I would still prefer the white panda dial over it, as I just love the contrast of the sub-dials, as well as the silvery finish of the tapisserie dial. Besides the beauty of the dial, case and bracelet, I was very impressed with the feeling when engaging the chronograph buttons. It is so soft and refined compared to the other chronographs I have operated. I have a feeling it will not be my last Royal Oak watch
I vacation often in Clearwater FL and as such, wondering if the AP service center is open to the public? Or do you have to make an appointment? Any goodies there to see?
