Omega 2760.50.00 wrist watches news:
Value is a big part of the discussion here on worn&wound. Often, it's enough to say that a reasonably priced watch with decent specs and a pleasing design presents a significant value. But for some companies, value doesn't mean offering just the bare minimum. For these brands, the desire to go above and beyond the fundamentals is what separates them from the pack, and if it can be done without charging the exorbitant prices one has come to expect from the watch industry, then that's just icing on the cake. If there is any company that has come to embody this ethos in totality, it's Damasko.Based out of Regensburg, Germany, Damasko first entered the market in 1994 with a desire to do something new and different. Since its inception, Damasko has set new and exciting standards for both the watch industry and with consumers as to what a small brand could truly accomplish. Hi evoryone I have a Sea Dweller that I haven't worn since I got my GMT, and I have a rule if I don't wear it I sell it . My question is whether or not I should service it before I sell it ? Is it worth the time and money ? will I recoup the cost of the service ? Thanks in advance ....Danny
All Guards are marked on the back, "Water Guard," "Shock Guard" (those are easy), then "Synchro Guard" and "Life Guard." I'm not exactly sure what the last two refer to, especially Life Guardit may be obvious, but I couldn't find any references to those here. I thought the synchro could refer to something relating to isochronism...? Does anyone know?I'll take some photos of my watches over the weekend, too, if I can.David
Here's what a little work and saving a few extra dollars every week got me. It's my first true luxury watch and I just love it. The size is perfect, weight is impressive to say the least, the look is different and the build quality it top notch.
Does anyone have any experience with these? I have been looking at a date model (ref# 3513.30) and really like them.Pros/Cons and acceptable prices to pay?Any information would be really helpful.
