- Bought the watch and it looks great, however setting it takes a college degree from Adidas. My wife and I have both read the manual and still can not get the watch set right.

Hamilton H38715731 wrist watches news:
I am just starting to get into watch collecting, and I want to purchase a Hamilton Jazzmaster Auto Chrono. There aren't any authorized dealers anywhere near me, so I plan to buy online. There is a seller on ebay that sells the exact model I am looking for. He has an auction for one just about every other day. I realize that I won't be getting a warranty by purchasing through this type of channel, but what I want to know is if I will be getting a genuine Hamilton or if it will be a high priced fake.Does anyone have any info on this? Thanks,BradPS After the Jazzmaster I plan to pick up a Frogman. Hamilton really has some great looking watches at affordable prices! If anyone has suggestions for where I can get a Frogman, I would love to hear those as well.
I haven't posted a non-American acquisition in a long time. This one is perfect advice from Adam. ALL information in this thread has been modified from his original writeup to me personal. I present to you the worlds FIRST Waterproof/Anti-Shock/Automatic/Anti-Magnetic watch!Rolex had one that was close but was not Anti-Magnetic!Although this model is from the 1940's it is the same model from 1935 that was the first ever in its class.Mido used a natural cork seal by the crown to keep water out. I asked Jesse how it worked and he said when natural cork swells when wet, and this watch has never had a reported failure. This watch is such a COOL piece, it is a bumper movement and a smooth sweep. It is gorgeous! The Mido917 beats at 18,000 bph through a Nivarox hairspring.According to Adam's research, the Mido Multifort cost 20% more than a Bubbleback from Rolex! This was luxury and function at its finest. Here are some pictures for you! Thank you Adam (Ike please thank Adam personally for me
Okay, here I am again.First, let me address all the naysayers. I know that this is not everyone's cup of tea. The Safari belongs on the brown hornback. It is the pairing of the brown hornback with the cream dial that makes the Safari what it is.I don't disagree. It was that combo that drew me to the Safari in the first place. However, owning a Panerai turns one into a strap whore and it is infectious. It creates a desire to tinker when different strap options are available. So, I've done the Safari on black rubber and diver straps. I like how the black straps seem to increase the contrast between the black numbers and the cream dial. It feels like the numbers really pop off the dial. I love the hornback so I really wanted the black hornback.Well, the AD called on Wednesday to say that my new deployment buckle had arrived from AP so I went downtown to pick it up. I had also picked up the black hornback when I ordered the DB so I had the new strap put on with the new buckle. Here it is.Al
How about an Aquanaut 5167 A or a 5164 A for a OWG? How practical is this watch compared to a steel Rolex? Lifestyle consists of Office work/ construction sites, beach/pool, traveling, gym and other semi active activities. I don't think I beat my watches to the point of only a gshock could handle me but I don't baby them either. I just want a watch that has a low profile, rugged, efficient that I could use it all the time, no limitations. Note: I considered the 5711 but I've come to realize I prefer rubber. Thanks!
I just got mine. It is awesome!
