Hublot 301.CI.8610.NR wrist watches news:
They have just add a few buildings at their factory and they build a extra house full of office. Then they call the Swiss government and told them they have setup their new precious metal control center for free and they just have to move in.The Swiss govnerment accept it so now they have a building inside the Rolex factory. This solution was cheaper for Rolex because they have to send in all the precious metalfor control and approving. So maybe next step is to build a house for the COSC control? Then everything will be inhouse. Jocke
Hey guys ! ! !I just finished up with this one about an hour ago, I'm very pleased with the results ! !This is a 1904 Elgin Transition Wrist Watch. It started out life in a pocket watch case but was then re-cased into this Philly case that was made in 1916-1917.Hence, transition piece.Size 6s grade 295 movement with 15 jewels.Giant 38mm Philadelphia "Silverode" case with the original factory crown.(usually they were MUCH smaller, around 31mm-32mm)ORNATE enamel Roman numeral dial that is SUPERB with a glossy finish ! ! ! ! !New glass crystal, new mainspring, new genuine Buffalo band, new inner sleeve on the crown tube. The new inner sleeve was the hardest part believe it or not, the exact replacement part is HARD to come by these days.I'll be rock'n this one for a few days ! ! ! ! ! ! !The movement looks SUPERB for being 108 years old ! ! !
Hi all,First thread in the AP Forum. Quick intro. All my watches have been Rolex (+ some pre-WIS purchases unworthy of mention), but about a year ago I started to get drawn into AP. The journey began with the fascination of the RO Jumbo, 15300, 15400, and recently the ROO Navy. Haven't seen a lot of mentions here like the Safari and Elephant. Is there love for Navy? Here's a shot of what I tried on last week (sorry crappy pic). I'd never thought a ROO could even be an option due to its 42mm size on my smallish wrist (~6.75) but I got bit hard. Just felt amazing on the wrist. The navy dial is simply mesmerizing with the orange highlights and details. Wow. The rubber strap, I think, is what makes this ROO feels like a perfect fit on a smaller wrist (or any wrist) Very curious about your expert input or insights here about this reference. Thanks for looking
Well, it looks like I'm really diggin' my Diver. I first got it 31 days ago, and I can't recall ever being so happy with any other watch. Ever. And I've had quite a few over the years... But back to the title of the post, I wanted to share how versatile the Diver really is. Yes, you may be able to say the same for other AP's, but since I have a Diver, this is what I'll share. With the original black rubber strap is is a true sports watch. It looks like a diving watch, and plays the part really well. Goes great with casual looks, it is light, it is comfortable and looks like a killer high-end tool watch.rubber.jpgBut when you add an original AP Hornback leather strap and deployant, it transforms into a more sophisticated and elegant piece, one that works great with a sports jacket, or business casual look. It still is reasonably light, and extremely comfortable, and having a deployant makes it super easy to get on or off your wrist, while keeping the strap looking like new
Anyone think they are too similar to own both a 45.5MM Planet Ocean 8500 on black rubber strap AND a blue 45.5MM Planet Ocean titanium on blue leather strap?
