Hublot 341.PX.130.RX.114 wrist watches news:
What is the history of these? I assume they are Rolex dials which are factory assembled and approved for Servicing.Do any Members have pics to show. Or have any favourite dial combinations they have seen?I was on the ebay auction site and saw a slate grey with black markers at 12-6-9, diamond markers at the other hours. All on a 16613 TT Submariner. I thought this combination looked extremely sharp.Any comments on these customized Rolexes?
There is always a WRUW daily on the Hamilton page. Today seemed to be a mostly "non-Hamilton" day over there. I am sporting my Lord Elgin 'Clubman' today. I am still looking for the perfect strap but, in the interim I have paired it with this vintage Speidel two toned. What is on your wrist or, in your pocket this fine day?
Kevin - I saw the Avanti Catalog link in the Orbita newsletter:orbita/NEW/images/Avanti_Catalog.pdfIt looks as though the Avanti 3, 6, and 12 models are offered in a different color of wood than the 24, 36, and 48 models. Is that the case? The wood color of the larger models looks more red toned to my eye, which would work MUCH better with my bedroom furnishings.
Dear All,Do you think there is still 5575G available from AD now, after 1.5 yrs from its first delivery to the market? The production number of 1300 seems to be quite big, hence is it possible that there is still some stock being held by AD?Thanks!Henry
Hi TRF,I'm a relatively new member on the forum, but have lurked for quite some time, and have also been in the watch game for almost half my life (which isn't as long as it sounds as I'm a young man, but you get the picture haha). I wanted to talk a little bit about the Rolex Skydweller, a watch that I've always found to be a very fascinating, beautiful, albeit polarizing piece from Rolex. It's a bit lengthy, but I guess I have an extending opinion on the piece I'll start by saying that I am in fact a happy owner of stainless Sky which I purchased not too long ago, so if I sound biased, it may be because I am haha! From what I've seen on the forum (and in the watch community as a whole), the Skydweller is far from being unanimously loved in the same way that say a Daytona or a GMT is; the label lukewarm comes to mind when I see the sentiments on the Sky. I always found it quite interesting that the Sky wasn't as well received and loved as I personally felt it should have been. Without
