Hublot 341.PR.2010.LR.1913 wrist watches news:
JS Watch Co. is Iceland's premier watch maker based out of Reykjavik. Though I can't say for sure if they are Iceland's only watch maker. As small brands go, they have done some nice things and their latest offering is a special product for them. It really takes the Icelandic heritage to a new level, combining a range of design features and cultural elements. This is the JS Watch Frisland God Special Edition timepiece.Watch lovers will recognize a few elements that they have seen before. Good elements that bear repeating. The dial of the Frisland God watch is made from volcano ash. Which volcano? Oh you know which Volcano. None other than the now famous and still unpronounceable Eyjafjallaj?kull. Romain Jerome deserves credit for being the first brand to do a dial with ash from the Volcano after the little incident back in 2010. Over the black ash are printed hour indicators and text. Rolex fans:Guido Mondani is releasing his latest volume this month - THE ROLEX SUBMARINER STORY. The big news about this volume is that (unlike his previous Submariner book) it is in BOTH Italian AND English. Click here's to see the press release PDF: Click Here to see the order page:I've been promised a review copy in a couple of weeks, and will be posting my full review of the book once I've read it. I won't lie - I'm pretty excited about this one. Seeing the Mondani treatment focused exclusively on the Submariner should be awesome!!
Here's the watch I was asking for help with in another thread:
Last summer I moved from Chicago to Waltham and because where I work has terrible parking I take the train into Boston. In Waltham Square is a clock just across the street from the train platform. For months the time was either hours fast or hours slowtake your pick. I sent an e-mail to the Mayor suggesting the clock be fixedit is, afterall, Watch City USA. Here is the resultI guess that is one way to correct the problem. Here is another problem, Waltham touts itself as Watch City but look where the clock was made.
When you're not home to receive it?? Sadly I've got something shipping today for tomorrow. While I'd normally have it shipped to wherever I'm traveling, it's one of those crazy travel weeks consisting of 4 cities so I'd rather not risk it. Now I've got to wait until Friday! Yes, I could have waited to post but where's the fun in that?
