Hublot 542.CM.1771.RX wrist watches news:
First up, Hi all. I've never posted here, nor anywhere about watches. I don't know anything about them, other than there are some very beautiful, and pricey ones out there. My question is simple and quick, are there a line of "cheap" omega watches from the 1950's? I don't have a picture of mine, it says "Century" on the face, an inside the back, its calibre 266, and number 14207482. Now, I have no illusion that its a fancy watch. I bought it to wear, as my bulova crapped out. I notice that seeing the watches here, and other Omegas on the web, that my watch really looks like a poor cousin, next to others! I'm okay with that, I'm sure its worth the $50 I paid, I mean, it keeps time and all. The stem on mine does not have the little Omega sign which I assume means its been replaced. Anyway, again, I don't think my watch is worth anything, I'm just wondering if there was a cheap line. Thanks for indulging my curiosity! Oh, and if I didn't mention it, there are some beautiful wa
Just posted on Ebay is a variation on the Piping Rock theme. A 986 movement, no seconds? Any comments?By the way, I don't think this seller has to worry about setting a reserve.
Hi everyone,As most of you got to see, I was the fortunate recipient of an incredibly rare Gruen day/nite in mint condition. If you remember correctly, the crown was funny (YG) when I sent it out to my good friend Scott Allison (Owner of Forum Sponsor Times of Plenty). I've spent hours looking through Scott's collection and he is my only "favorite" seller on eBay. I own a Waltham Dive that was originally his, but I really wanted to share his true masterpiece - NOS period correct straps, with you all and get your opinions on which one would look best.Well, Scott was nice enough to fix my crown for me and is going to help me set up my first participating poll in WTF history. Thanks Scott! The goal of this thread is to limit down to one winner with the help of all you folks from WTF. Please cast a vote and tell me why you like it (if you so desire). Please help me pick a strap that will wear well with the Day/Nite and visit Times of Plenty, to view his collection. You will be BLOWN away!

Hi, I have a 116520 and am looking to get the dial/hands swapped out for a new look. Is there someone in the NJ area that is reputable and can do this at a reasonable price? Thanks!
