Hello Gang...Our very own Fred Friedberg just published an AMAZING articlein the NAWCC (March/April) addition of "Watch and Clock"Bulletin.Fred tells the amazing story of 2 Consuls...Both Stories were the result of engravings foundon the casebacks...If you don't get the magazine, I am told you can see it on lineYou all should be NAWCC members, a fine organization! The Consul has been called the "Greatest Wrist Watch ever made in America"and anyone who owns one can attest to their incredible beauty! The "Convict" watch is a one off pinstripe dial with subs at 9and the "Undertaker's" has a custom dial with the owner's name instead of numbers...I don't want to spoil the article, So I sayJUST READ IT!!An incredible piece of research and a 2 fascinating stories! If you don't have one of these rarities, I understand Fred may have one or two extra in his arsenal for sale, seriously hard to come by, gang!also, Rick assisted Fred in the article, so you know it is really good stuff!
Is it normal for a quartz to lose one minute each week? If not, what could be the causes?

It's beautiful, stainless steel, black dial, stick minute markers, cyclops date. The paper date is 10/2016. Dial says 'Prince Date-Day' no mention of oyster. The bracelet is both brushed and polished. Smooth polished bezel. Interesting that it came in from Hong Kong. A very elegant, yet sporty timepiece, eminently wearable.
As discussed elsewhere in this forum (especially here), Thomas Magnum sported a 16750 matte dial for much of the series in the '80s.It was recently announced that the show is being rebooted and producer Peter Lenkov just posted on Instagram that the character will be wearing his personal Rolex GMT. Lenkov says he got it years ago because of the show. The new one has a coke bezel instead of a pepsi. Can anyone tell what reference is it from this image alone?
