- I liked that the watch band fits a larger wrist like mine. You can take off a link to shorten it if you have a er wrist. Very nice watch and can be used for everyday or for that very special occasion.

Sent my recently acquired 39mm rg ROC to the local APSC yesterday for a service overhaul and polish. Late this afternoon I received this photo from the service center (whose owner I consider a friend). Will be a long 2 weeks while I wait for the service to be completed but it will be well worth it once the watch comes back looking new again. The white dial will stay, for now. Will definitely post pics upon its return from the service center.
Hi, guys. I've recently taken quite a shine to the 1950s-60s era Omegas. The size - 34mm or so - seems quite nice for modern-day wear on a smaller wrist. I've wanted a vintage watch for a long time and had been looking at Rolex Datejusts and Dates, but the vintage Omegas have such a neat look and can be had for considerably less than Rolex. At least, so it seems. Is it crazy to be especially intrigued with the Constellation because it has the cool observatory image on the back of the case? I just love that look. Even though it wouldn't show when being worn, it is such an elegant touch.I'm trying to learn more about these vintage pieces. Can anybody tell me more about them, pros and cons, and post pics if you have them? Any and all vintage Omegas - by all means share your knowledge!Thank you!PS - just found Desmond's blog. What a tremendous resource!
i am looking to buy a Patek 5146J. how much can i expect an AD to discount? the prices JUST went up a couple days ago, but of course now i found what i want! with their low production, im not sure when i will find another. any ideas? i checked furman and they are about 15%, but thats all i found. and i dont know the scarcity of the watches, nor the rules patek places on their ad's. thanks for any suggestions/information. mark
