I posted about my vintage watch earlier today and that spurred me to do some research. Turns out its a ref 165.002. Looking online though, there seem to be several very different versions of this watch; including face and hands. Is this normal? Thanks a bunch, still learning.:)
Came across a post with this picture a while back when I was oogling over 5164 pics and deciding whether to go for one (which I did). However, its just a grab from Instagram and no details...anyone know how easy it is to put a 5167 bracelet onto a 5164?Is it as simple as sourcing one and putting it on? Any conversions needed? Different pins? etc etcI'm much more a fan of the rubber strap than I ever thought I'd be (and admit it was a positive factor in the consideration to purchase) but I do like to change things up from time to time. Will seem like a different watch and no need to flip for another Orig post:.rolexforums/showthrea...=324902&page=2
Hi Everyone,First of all thank you to all the people on this fabulous forum that helped me last week whilst I was making sure the deal to buy this watch was right. As mentioned last week, this is way out of my league and I may well be the poorest Patek owner on Earth but I don't mind!I am so excited i may have gone a little crazy with the pictures but I am sure the lovers will be happy to see this beauty!I have taken the photos so you can hopefully sense how i felt whilst undressing her Anyway let me know your thoughts!
